Drop Box Counters

Passengers who have items in their carry-on baggage that are not permitted through pre-board screening can now leave them at three convenient Drop Box Counters.

The items can be either:

• Stored for a small fee of $1 a day until the passenger returns
• Sent by courier to the passenger at home or their destination
• Donated to charity

There are two Drop Boxes at the central security screening area and a third at the screening area for US Customs. Returning passengers can reclaim items at the Information Booth located on the Arrivals level directly across from door #7.

The boxes are a joint initiative of Edmonton Airports and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority.
