Within an hour of the city, Elk Island National Park has over 90 kilometers of trails and parkland where visitors can view bison, deer, elk and moose roaming together.

Outdoor adventures also abound four hours west of Edmonton in pristine Jasper National Park, the largest National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Alberta’s sunny winter climes provide ski opportunities at world renowned Marmot Basin. The majestic beauty of the park is matched with the variety of outdoor adventure no matter the season. Travel to Jasper is easy by car, coach or train.

The Edmonton-Jasper Access Group is working to make transportation between Edmonton and Jasper easier and promote the corridor as a single destination. Watch for a new bus service from Edmonton International Airport to Jasper coming soon.
