Self-Serve Check-In Kiosks

EIA Self Serve CheckCommon-use self-service check-in kiosks allow passengers to access multiple airlines from one machine, check in faster, and avoid line-ups. The kiosks are free, easy to use, and can be used by all guests. It takes approximately 60 seconds to check in at a kiosk, making them a quick and convenient alternative to traditional check-in processes.

Edmonton International has 28 self-service check-in kiosks located throughout the airport terminal. There are also two Airport Express kiosks located at the Downtown Visitor Information Centre at 9990 Jasper Avenue for customers who want to check-in for their flight downtown before leaving for the airport.

Most airlines also permit passengers to check in for flights and select their seats over the Internet up to 24 hours before the flight. Look for the “Check In” link on your airline’s website home page, or visit our Web Check-In page for quick links.

Self-Serve Kiosks and Internet check-in can accommodate most types of checked baggage, and also allow passengers to change their seat selection.

Passengers checking in using a self-serve kiosk will receive a boarding pass to take with them to their gate, either directly or after dropping off their baggage with their airline.
